Rice Krispy Treat Monsters
What you'll need:
1 bag of small marshmallows
6 cups of Rice Krispie Treats
3 tbsp. of butter
1 packet of candy eyeballs
1 bag of green chocolate melts
Follow the recipe on the box of Rice Krispies or even on the bag of marshmallows. My secret to gooey Rice Krispy Treats is; set aside a cup of small marshmallows and add them into the melted marshmallow mix along with the 6 cups of Rice Krispies, for pockets of gooey marshmallow goodness.
Let your Rice Krispy Treats cool completely before cutting them into little blocks.
Melt your green chocolate melts in the microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring thoroughly between melting.
Note: Do not, I repeat, do NOT use the water method. If even a drop of water gets into your mixture, the chocolate looses it's consistency and you will not be able to coat your Rice Krispy Treats.
Once your chocolate has completely melted, simply dip your Rice Krispy Treats about a quarter of the way in, place on wax paper to cool, and add as many candy eyeballs as you would like.
