Board & Brush | Lake Forest, CA

This pandemic is one of the craziest things that I have experienced in my life thus far. Since last Friday, we have hardly left our house. I mean, other than playing in the garden and little nature walks. It feels like life changed in the blink of an eye.

We are now hearing that San Francisco is on a complete lockdown. No one can leave home, unless it's for a food run, pharmacy of doctors visit. Los Angeles is closing all bars and restaurants to patrons. Luckily they can still deliver food.

What we are left with are memories of our most recent outings. The "good old times" of about two weeks ago, when we were still not practicing social distance, schools were open, and we could have fun in close proximity to friends.

I'm one of the lucky one who got to enjoy a truly fantastic outing with my girls!

About two weeks ago, blogger moms from three of my Mommy Blogger Tribes met at Board & Brush in Lake Forest, CA. Thanks to my girl Maya, Managing Member of the San Diego Mommy Blogger Tribe.

It was magical. The five of us had such a fun time learning about stains and paints, white washing and stenciling, and of course, having wine, and chatting it up. It was fun and working on our DIY projects was almost therapeutic. I can't wait to do it again!

I can tell you one thing, as soon as this Corona Virus insanity is over, you can expect to see me back at Board & Brush with the girls. But for now, I can look at the gorgeous tray I made for my husband and reminisce on a seriously good time out with my mamas.
