A couple of weeks ago, hubby and I dropped the kids off at school and realized that we had a free morning. The boys are only at school 3 hours a day, so we normally rush around doing as much work as possible, and run as many errands as you can imagine, during our child-free time. But on this particular day, we were practically errand free. Naturally, we decided to go on a breakfast date.

When hubby asked where I wanted to go, my immediate reply was Joe's Cafe. Why? Well, because Chef Joe, one of the owners of Joe's Cafe, won an episode of Food Network's Chopped a few years back, and the restaurant was recently featured on an episode of Travel Channel's Food Paradise. Enough said?

Hubby and I had a lovely breakfast on the patio, before heading out to do some errands that we created for ourselves while eating.

I couldn't get Joe's Cafe out of my head. I absolutely loved the Pork Belly Hash I ordered, and our server was so sweet and wonderful... and brought extra Pretzel bread for the table. GIVE ME ALL THE PRETZEL BREAD!

So, with only a few days left, I cancelled arrangements previously made for the LA Mommy Blogger Tribe Brunch, and reached out to Joe's Cafe.

Joe's Cafe is located in the heart of Granada Hills, at 17823 Chatsworth Blvd. They are open everyday from 7:30am to 3:00pm, with lunch starting at 11:00am, and they are open for dinner Thursday through Saturday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

There is always plenty of street parking, with additional parking behind Joe's Cafe.

I have to say, having brunch with this Tribe of powerhouse women, is always good for the soul. We understand and support each other in so many ways and on so many levels. From motherhood, to our businesses, we vibe and lend a helping hand whenever needed. So this is where I mention the other owner of Joe's Cafe, Chef Joe's wife, Aliceon.

Folks, we could not have met a more down to earth, hard working, passionate woman, if we conjured her up ourselves. I'm telling you, if Aliceon had a blog, I would have begged her to join LA Mommy Blogger Tribe on the spot!

Joe and Aliceon, have created a gem of a cafe in the heart of Granada Hills, CA. They have somehow mastered the delicate balance of a warm and inviting atmosphere and staff, coupled with incredible home made food.

The Stuffed French Toast is pure decadence, the Breakfast Bruschetta is to die for, Ojan's Junk is just genius! But if you have to only try one thing on the menu, go for P-Cake Balls (5 house made sausages dipped and fried in our pancake batter, served with maple cream).

All of the LA Mommy Blogger Tribe ladies had an amazing time at Joe's Cafe. We mingled, laughed, and snapped a billion photos. We talked shop and ate like Queens!
