RANDY’S DONUTS CELEBRATES 70th ANNIVERSARY AS THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS DONUT SINCE 1952
The World’s Most-Famous Donut Shop Celebrates 70 Years Companywide with $.70 Classic Donuts, Party in Inglewood with Pinks Hot Dogs and Collaboration with Tyra Banks’ SMiZE Cream
Get ready to roll out the glazed carpet and bite into your favorite handmade donuts for the camera, Los Angeles’ iconic Randy’s Donuts is celebrating seventy years of being the World’s Most Famous Donut since 1952.
On Monday, November 14, for one day only, Randy’s Donuts will celebrate the milestone companywide at all locations including Burbank, Orange County, Riverside, Bakersfield and Las Vegas, offering customers $.70 pricing on all classic donuts from 11am-2pm. Limit 12 classic donuts per person, in-store only, not available for online/delivery. At 11:00am, the Inglewood location will host a celebration and media day with the Mayor of Inglewood, free Pink’s Hot Dogs from 11am-2pm (while supplies last), photobooth, DJ, and limited-edition Randy’s Donuts 70th Anniversary merchandise – available for sale at the Inglewood location only, and online (while supplies last).
To make the celebration even sweeter, Randy’s Donuts announces a very special collaboration with Inglewood native Tyra Banks and founder of SMiZE Cream, introducing the all-new YOU BACON ME 70 ice cream flavor blended with Randy’s Donuts Bacon Maple Long John and Randy’s Donuts Apple Fritter made into a delectable truffle at the bottom of each serving. YOU BACON ME 70 will launch at the SMiZE Cream pop-up (the World’s First Ice Cream Trunk) at Randy’s Donuts Inglewood Monday, November 14th from 11am-2pm. The anniversary ice cream flavor will also be available to ship straight to your door via nationwide shipping from SMiZE Cream’s online shop.

“I have been a lifelong fan of Randy’s Donuts – I used to beg my parents to get donuts all the time, they didn’t always say yes so now I make up for it today by getting multiple dozens whenever I stop by” said Tyra Banks. “Teaming up with Randy’s Donuts to create a 70th anniversary ice cream flavor required the help of my SMiZE Cream ice cream scientist Dr. Maya Warren, who created the spectacular YOU BACON ME 70. My favorite Bacon Maple Long John, blended with ice cream with an Apple Fritter Truffle at the bottom is gonna make everyone wanna finish the whole container in one sitting. In the last seven years, Randy’s Donuts has grown from one location in Inglewood to a mix of corporate and franchise operations totaling twelve Southern California locations (Inglewood, El Segundo, Torrance, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Downey, Burbank, Riverside, Bakersfield, Santa Ana and two in Costa Mesa) and one store in Las Vegas with several more on the way.
